Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled, so your full IP address is never stored.

What We Analyze
We use analytics data to understand which features are most useful, identify and fix technical issues, monitor site performance, and improve the overall Cryptara experience. We do not use this data to identify individual users.
5Google AdSense & Advertising
Cryptara displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies (including Google's DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet.
Specifically:
- Google may use information about your visits to this and other websites to serve you relevant advertisements
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visit to Cryptara
- Ad content is determined algorithmically by Google and is not hand-selected by Cryptara
- Cryptara earns revenue from ad impressions and clicks, which funds the free operation of this service
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies by visiting aboutads.info.
We do not have access to or control over cookies used by third-party advertisers. Clicking on advertisement links will direct you to third-party websites governed by their own privacy policies.
6Third-Party Data Sources
Cryptara fetches financial data from external APIs to power its features. Here is exactly what data is exchanged with each provider:
| Provider | Data Fetched | Personal Data Sent? | Their Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinGecko API | Coin prices, market caps, volumes, sparklines, OHLCV data, global market stats, trending coins, recently added coins | No personal data. Standard HTTP headers (browser type, IP) may be included in requests. | Privacy Policy ↗ |
| CryptoCompare API | Cryptocurrency news articles and their metadata | No personal data. Coin category filters (e.g., "BTC") are sent as query parameters. | Privacy Policy ↗ |
| Binance WebSocket | Real-time price stream for the coin currently open in the modal (e.g., BTCUSDT) | No personal data. The coin trading pair symbol (e.g., "btcusdt") is sent to subscribe to the stream. | Privacy Policy ↗ |
Cryptara uses the free tiers of these APIs, which means no authentication keys are attached to most requests. No user-specific information (name, email, location) is ever sent to these data providers.
7How We Use Information
The information we collect (primarily through Google Analytics) is used exclusively to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Cryptara platform
- Understand which features are most valuable to users
- Diagnose technical errors and optimize site performance
- Measure the effectiveness of our content and feature updates
- Serve relevant advertisements through Google AdSense to fund the free service
We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you, create user profiles, or engage in any form of behavioral targeting beyond what Google Analytics and AdSense do on our behalf.
