By accessing or using Cryptara ("the Service") at cryptara.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. Your continued use of Cryptara after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Cryptara is a free, web-based cryptocurrency market data platform that provides:

• Real-time and near-real-time cryptocurrency price data for 250+ coins
• Interactive price charts (line and candlestick) with multiple timeframes
• Market capitalization, trading volume, and supply data
• Trending coins, top gainers, and top losers
• Market heatmaps and recently listed coin notifications
• Curated cryptocurrency news from third-party sources
• Personal watchlists and price alert tools (stored locally in your browser)
• Coin comparison and global market statistics

The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.

3Financial Disclaimer

The information presented on Cryptara reflects data from third-party providers at the time of retrieval. It does not account for your personal financial situation, investment goals, risk tolerance, or tax implications. You bear full and sole responsibility for any investment decisions you make.

4Data Accuracy & Third-Party API Disclaimer

Cryptara sources market data from third-party APIs, including CoinGecko, CryptoCompare, and Binance. While we strive to display accurate, timely information, we make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of data presented on the Service.

Known Limitations

• Data Delay: Price data refreshes automatically every 30 seconds. Prices displayed may be up to 30 seconds behind actual market conditions.
• API Rate Limits: Cryptara uses free-tier API access. Temporary data gaps may occur during periods of high traffic or API throttling.
• Exchange Coverage: Prices represent aggregated data from a limited set of exchanges as reported by data providers — not all exchanges or trading pairs.
• News Accuracy: News articles are sourced from CryptoCompare and third-party publishers. We do not verify or endorse the accuracy of news content.
• Newly Listed Coins: Recently added coin data may be incomplete or inaccurate, especially for very new listings.

Third-Party API Terms

Use of Cryptara is also subject to the terms of our data providers:

• CoinGecko API Terms — market data provider
• CryptoCompare API Terms — news provider
• Binance Terms of Service — real-time price streaming

5User Responsibilities

By using Cryptara, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to the following:

Permitted Use

• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes only
• Access the Service through standard web browsers and mobile devices
• Respect reasonable use of the free API tier that powers Cryptara

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Automated Access: Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated scripts to access, collect, or copy data from the Service at scale
• Commercial Data Redistribution: Redistribute, resell, or create derivative data products from Cryptara's market data without explicit written permission
• Security Interference: Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, exploit vulnerabilities in, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Abuse: Overload the Service with excessive requests, engage in denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with other users' access
• Impersonation: Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Cryptara
• Unlawful Use: Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
• Minors: Use the Service if you are under 18 years of age, or allow minors to use it

Your Sole Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all investment and trading decisions made based on information obtained from Cryptara. You acknowledge that cryptocurrency trading carries substantial risk of financial loss and that you use this Service entirely at your own risk.

6Intellectual Property

The Cryptara brand, name, logo, design, user interface, and original code are owned by Cryptara and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Cryptocurrency market data displayed on Cryptara is owned by or licensed from the respective data providers (CoinGecko, CryptoCompare, Binance). Cryptara does not claim ownership of this data.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or republish Cryptara's design, branding, or code without permission
• Create derivative works based on Cryptara's proprietary elements
• Use the Cryptara brand or trademarks without express written consent
• Commercially redistribute cryptocurrency data obtained through Cryptara (this would also violate CoinGecko's and CryptoCompare's own terms)

You are permitted to share links to Cryptara pages, embed screenshots for editorial or educational purposes, and reference Cryptara in reviews, news articles, or comparisons.

7Advertising

Cryptara displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These advertisements fund the free operation of the Service. By using Cryptara, you acknowledge and accept:

• Advertisements will appear on various pages of the Service
• Ad content is determined by Google's algorithms — Cryptara does not manually select ads
• Cryptara does not endorse any advertised product, service, or company
• Clicking ads will direct you to third-party websites with their own terms and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any advertised third-party

Users may opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ad Settings while continuing to use Cryptara.

8Third-Party Services & Links

Cryptara integrates several third-party services to provide its features:

• Google AdSense — advertising

9Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CRYPTARA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE:

• Any investment, trading, or financial losses, howsoever caused
• Any decisions made based on data, charts, or information presented on the Service
• Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in market data, news, or analytics
• Service interruptions, downtime, API failures, or technical errors
• Loss of data stored in your browser's localStorage
• Unauthorized access to the admin panel or any stored settings
• Any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages
• Any damages arising from third-party API failures or data inaccuracies

In jurisdictions that do not allow certain limitation of liability exclusions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In all cases, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed USD $0, as Cryptara is provided entirely free of charge.

10Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRYPTARA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF DATA
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
• WARRANTIES THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS

You acknowledge that Cryptara is a free informational service with no paid subscription tier, and accept that service quality is provided on a best-effort basis.

11Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cryptara and its operators, affiliates, agents, and successors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of or access to the Service
• Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party

12Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to Cryptara at any time, without notice or liability, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service.

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — shall continue in full force and effect.

13Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
